Starting his career with Gladrags at Space and Leeds institution Glasshouse, Da Sendri moved to Ibiza in 2005 with a residency at the infamous Manumission Parties at the world’s largest club, Privilige. He’s lived in Ibiza for four seasons playing for Carl Cox & Friends, Judgement Sundays, Filthy Gorgeous, Pukka Up, Electrolick, Milk ‘n’ 2 Sugars, Ibiza Groove, Filth, Mondo Loco, and venue’s Space, Es Paradis, Eden, Kanya, Es Vivé, Coastline, Hush, Plastik and also jets off to London for Kinky Malinki and Pacha.
With growing respect both musically and professionally, NewDawn Entertainment Dubai CEO, Alex Bracken discovered Da Sendri whilst scouting Ibiza for the next Resident at one of the world’s most spectacular clubs, 360º in Dubai. For two seasons, Da Sendri kept 360º and Dubai drenched in proper house music during the warm Emirati winter and flew back to the crowds in Ibiza over the European summer.
At 360º, Da Sendri developed sets to incorporate the music he really has a passion for, turning the music policy on it‘s head and bringing proper House music to the Gulf, moving the crowd through Soulful, Deep and U.S. House to Chicago Jackin, Deep Tech melodies and tribal beats. Respect grew with his Saturday event Revolve @ 360º making it an institution in the middle east, known for bringing quality artists to Dubai with special guests Joey Negro, Kiko Navarro, Joshua Heath, DJ Memê, Audiowhores, Soul Central, Conan Manchester, Faze Action and Soulsonic. During his residency, 360º earned numerous accolades in the Middle East and entered the international scene, awarded 58th Best Club on the Planet from industry bible DJMag.
Jazz, Mo-town, Soul, Indie and Rock are often heard throughout Da Sendri’s sets with being ‘different than the norm’ his signature. Think Michael Jackson in the middle of driving deep tech, The Clash dropped in with a House set and avoiding 4/4 beats in chill-out sets lets Da Sendri show off his collection of original tracks.
With two seasons under his belt, 2009 saw Da Sendri move to a monthly spot at 360º and venture out to other residencies in Dubai. Ohm Records at Barasti Beach House and The Trilogy Rooftop, Sanctuary at The Atlantis Hotel on the Palm Islands, the much loved Layali Beach Parties, Chi @ The Lodge, Latin House @ 360º and also regularly picked for special events at HED KANDI, Cavalli Club, God’s Kitchen and Ministry of Sound in Dubai. First up in 2010 is an Australasian tour including Space Ibiza’s 20th Anniversary party in Sydney, Australia on New Years Day.
