On both Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th July 09, Sensation will reveal the full-on splendour of the new theme – Wicked Wonderland – at Amsterdam Arena in Amsterdam (capacity 40.000 per night). For those who have not heard, Sensation was created in Amsterdam in 2000 by Holland’s largest and most successful dance event organiser ID&T. Since then, over half a million people across the globe have experienced one of the most spectacular dance and music phenomenons in the world. World-renowned DJs such as Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren and David Guetta have previously taken part in these eight-hour extraordinary stage shows, which include acrobats, actors, state-of-the-art lightshows, lasers and fireworks. Performers dance across the venue and abseil from the roof, flames shoot from the stage and carnival floats part the crowds. Plus the dress code is unique - everyone must wear white.
This event will introduce the new theme of Sensation - Wicked Wonderland and will take you on a journey to a place full of secrets, magic and surprises. A new addition to Wicked Wonderland that promises to be one of the highlights of the event is the mystery act… ‘Curiouser and curiouser’,staring guests whose identities will be kept top secret until the actual event.
