Ministry of Sound nightclub is a stern believer in the progression of electronic music, which is why this February the club releases its first edition of the Club Series CD with SOS. To commemorate the occasion the Sexonsubstance trio will be playing together as a collection for the first time in 2010 at Ministry of Sound on Saturday 13th February.

Described as the ‘father of Detroit techno in the Netherlands,’ Steve Rachmad is a highly regarded and respected Dutch DJ/Producer that has held a career within the electronic music industry over the last 25 years. Though he is only really credited from 1996, he is a true original of the techno scene which is portrayed in his sets. Mostly deep and groovy they are often overlaid with distinct instrumentals and melodies, intertwined with funk and soul. His DJ CV is one that stretches from worldwide festivals to releases on Cocoon, Underwater and Tresor recordings, highlighting his popularity in today’s scene.  Jay Shepeard is clearly recognised as one of the most promising acts to come about over the few years, with a heavy background of music and knowledge within the industry he has fast become a big player on the London and German circuit. Earning support from electronic music elites, he has secured both a large following and nominations for several awards including Beatports ‘Best Deep House Act.’ Playing a predominantly darker side of house, he verges on techno throughout his sets engulfing the crowd in a galaxy of tunes – old, new and unreleased.  Slightly different from the regular DJ set he switches between CD-J’s and Ableton Live.

In the bar, fresh faced residents Future Disco make their club debut. Having stirred up East London with their unique parties over the last year duo Dom Chung & Sean Brosnan, kick start the first of their 6 dates with Greg Wilson and Faze action. Having already secured ‘No.1 dance album of 2009’ on iTunes, these guys are a strong indication of the year ahead at Ministry of Sound.
